Run For Denver

We're building a movement for economic justice in Denver. We have the platform, the volunteers, and the energy. We need a candidate who will fight for it.

What We're Looking For

Working Class Roots

Someone who knows what it's like to worry about rent, to choose between groceries and medicine. Not another wealthy candidate who "cares about the poor" - someone who has lived it.

Movement Builder

Demonstrated commitment to housing justice, labor rights, or community organizing. We want someone who has been in the fight, not someone who just discovered inequality during campaign season.

People-Funded Only

Willing to reject all corporate PAC money. No developer donations. No landlord money. No corporate bundlers. Small-dollar grassroots fundraising only. The people who fund you are the people you serve.

Committed to the Platform

Ready to champion our full platform: social housing, rent control, $25 minimum wage, one fair wage, universal right to counsel, and every other policy we've developed with community input.

Bilingual or Multilingual

Denver's Latino community is 30%+ of the city. Ideally our candidate speaks Spanish, but at minimum must be committed to genuine representation - not tokenism - for all of Denver's communities.

Ready to Win

Can commit to 2027 mayoral race OR 2025/2027 city council. Has the energy, resilience, and fire to run a grassroots campaign against better-funded establishment candidates. We have the infrastructure - you bring the fight.

  • Union leaders - teachers, nurses, service workers
  • Public defenders and tenant lawyers
  • Climate and environmental justice activists
  • Community organizers from DSA, Colorado People's Alliance, 9to5, and similar orgs
  • Social workers, counselors, and care workers
  • Local journalists who cover inequality
  • Anyone who has been failed by the system and wants to change it
